2TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-II HARD DRIVE - JUST £79 inc VAT

Was planning to buy a 1 tb for storage...all but decided on a samsung f3. Now you come out with this! Have to have a think all over again :p

Someone tell me which is better! Does the lower RPM make a difference if primary purpose is storage and video playing?

the only people that will be able to buy at 1.30pm on a thursday are, people with lunch at that unsusally late time, people with nice office jobs that sit infront of a computer all day, dole bums cashing in their giro's and students.
The working man gets screwed over again!!

..and working men like me who are on nightshift with alarm set for 1.15pm and netbook on bedside table:D

Very tempting but I have only recently (last 2 months) picked up two WD Green 1.5TB for £77 each :( Not to mention as others have already said I am also put off by the problems Seagate have had, and all my hard drives over the last 7-8 years had all been Seagates.

Most of Seagate's problems were on the 7200.11 which were actually fixed in the end. The LP is a completely new line of drives with different hardware and firmware. They are designed to park themselves to save power.
