'3' mobile internet suddenly gone all slow?

Personally i think people using it as a dedicated connection at home are really just taking the **** and being far too cheap to get a landline connection.. im on the "all you can eat plan" and when im home i use my WiFi when im out an about i use as much data as i like to i don't think I've ever gone over 5gb a month but then i don't take the absolute ****! i just like the fact i dont have to have any concern of going over what was used to be a 1gb data limit.

Taking the p*ss or not taking the p*ss, their connection speeds have DROPPED! And if you advertise an "all you can eat" data plan then your customers should be able to enjoy this. Fair usage policy says 80gb is the fair "unlimited" limit.

If I opened up an "all you can eat" restaurant and had a very hungry customer that cleared me out of food for the evening then I would have to swallow what I've been advertising.

It's three thats taking the p*ss, not their customers that are taking full advantage of what three are advertising.

You wouldn't say a customer is taking the p*ss by using up all their minutes, would you?

It still is better, If used within reason.

You didn't quite get my point.

As an aside.

Since this thread was made I am now back on the One Plan as well. No congestion anymore!

3-12Mbps with an average of about 5Mbps I'd say.

I'd love to get a broadband landline connection! but there isn't any form of fixed line broadband service available to me here, yet, Three MBB is my only option and quite frankly it's a godsend.

People seem to assume that just because they have a fast fixed line BB service that everyone else does too! Well that just isn't the case! and criticising people for using the only connection method available to them is quite stupid and is becoming tiresome to read!

What do you expect us to do? live without internet? Why the hell should we if alternative services to non-exsistent fixed line BB are available?

Yes three is still the best network provider IMO. Their coverage used to be sh*te but it has improved drastically over the last 5 years.

Well I'm not sure why I'm still experiencing slow speeds, where as the speeds I used to get were absolutely phenomenal. I'm not excessively downloading stuff either

O2's 3G is fast, but sparse.
Vodafone seem to think 2G is the way forward.
That just leaves pink barbie tmobile and orange, and I reckon they've probably got the best 3g out of everyone.

Think I might be asking for my PAC code soon.

Vodafone's limited 3G network is quick too. Do they have masts outside major cities though? I haven't found any yet :D The network share with o2 can't come soon enough....

I think you can count 3 with T-Mobile and Orange, they still have that 3G mast share going on with T-Mobile (MBNL)
You should have access to the the same 3G coverage on all three networks.

I thought pulling 3GB this month was bad... but 90gb... jaysus!

I do agree though, if they advertise it as unlimited it should be totally unlimited.

1 mega bit yay.

As has been said. Not everyone has access to decent fixed line BB

90% of the time my 3 PAYG unlimited internet is significantly faster

Ive just left 3 as my signal and internet speeds had become appauling over the last few months.

When i rang to give my 30 days notice they said it was possibly because they were no longer piggybacking oranges signal

Im on won Orange and the signals much better as it the internet signal.

Orange provided 2g fill in signal so unless you were down to 2G at home it seems unlikely that was the issue.

You probably have people that hammer your local cell tower with all you can eat data.
