30/11 Strikes.

Quite why anyone would take anything Clarkson says seriously is beyond me.

I'm more concerned at Matt Baker asking David Cameron how he sleeps at night, although his tone was hardly accusatory, so I can't even get all that excited about that.

The BBC's contract with Clarkson must have contained the usual clause about not bringing the organisation into disrepute by his actions/words. It is about time the BBC reminded Clarkson he is an employee and issue a final written warning about his behaviour. Personally I would like to see the **** sacked.

A joke has some humour. There was nothing to laugh at in his excretable comments. The only humour, if it can be called humour is Clarkson making an arse of himself.

And what about Matt Baker? Is it OK for him to criticise the Prime Minister?

And I believe you mean execrable.

Was he being critical or was he merely asking how someone in a position of massive stress and responsibility can relax at the end of the day?

I've watched it a few times and the first time I thought it was just a general question.

What Clarkson has done is perfectly shown people with your views up for what they are worth. Nothing at all.

I'm loving all you lefty nutjobs that read the Gruniad getting into a right flap over an obvious joke. Left wing comedians on Channel 4 have been getting away of far worse for years.

Funny now the joke is on the other foot you lefties can't take the joke.

So am I allowed to misinterpret his comments, or is it only Clarkson that can be misunderstood?

I can tell instantly from what you have written that you have no idea what Clarkson said, you merely heard something form someone who heard something from somebody.

Let me sum it up: he was asked what he thought, he said he liked the strikes and was for it, he was told he couldn't say that on the BBC as it was supposed to be unbiased so he jokingly added he hated the strikes, then clarified that wasn't his pov, the media created a frenzy.

Anyway even if it wasn't all a media falacy the BBC wouldn't sack him, he is the lead writer/star of the most popular show on BBC2 and outside England (the world is bigger than England) the most popular show on the entire BBC (most people don't care about the lives of fictional cockneys)

Or the humour can be found in irony of your post, as you're making an arse of yourself. Hohoho.

Bet the Tories cant believe the story the day after the strikes was about Clarkson, you cant buy that press interest, Clarkson should demand some royalties from his mate Cameron, literally all it was "take them outside and shoot them" all day on the radio and news channels

What I find funny, if the fact he even said before and after:

We need to give both biases on this situation, so he said about how he agress about the striking etc etc.

He then said, well I need to give the other bias now, which is when he said about taking everyone and shooting them.

It's people hearing what they WANT to hear, they're just thick

Seriously dude, lighten up.

'Comedians' say worse things EVERY DAY, yet no one badgers about them.

If people are so worried about his actions, why put him on an interview? Seriously, how thick are people?

He hosts a show, that brings the BBC god knows how much money, and he does it well.

As I said before, don't like him, don't bloody listen!

Is it amazing that anyone on this forum that disagrees with the right is branded a lefty nutjob. My only advice to you sir is to stick to reading the Sun, it is your level.

I personally do not read newspapers.

Your post says more about yourself than anything else.

He is not a comedian he is a motoring presenter for the BBC. Comedians do push boundaries and the results are sometimes tasteless but they usually learn from the experience as their livlihoods depend on it. Clarkson continues to embarrass his employers and the BBC should be taking action against him. You talk of fairness, well Mr Brand was punished so why not Clarkson?

As for your inane comment about not listening, it appeared on the main news so I had no choice in the matter.

Really? I laughed my **** off, and I'm a left wing striking militant TU rep!

There's massive difference between saying strikers should be shot, in context of his previous comments (which everyone misses and thus takes the line out of context), and telling an OAP that you took his grand daughter up the dirt box. A massive difference..............
