30/11 Strikes.

Sarcasm, Wordy.

Do you and the poster believe the strikes are due to to "Tory Scum"?

I dunno but I'm still waiting for a letter from the said Tory scum. They keep telling everyone they have written to us explaining their angle, and explaining their uncosted 'improved' offer.... no one I know has ever recieved it.

Must be a bit like their 'talks are continuing' line. Anyway, Tory scum are always Tory scum you can't really hate them for the way they are born... You can hate the yellow belly Lib Dem soul sellers though... :D

See, my issue with attitude's like this is that you tarnish parties due to traditions. People are "taught" by their parents to hate a certain party and always vote a certain way no matter what.

I personally did not agree with all the Conservative policies of the 80's etc just as i did'nt for the Labour government of the 90's.

People seem to treat political parties like football teams. Whereas they all **** in the same pot!

Yes and no, We (pulic servants) are an easy target so we are having our contracts changed. So yes, as the Tories ar the ones doing this then yes they have provked the strike. However I think that any gov would see us as an easy target and would possibly do the same

Agree 100% with what you said. They would all have done the same thing!

MrMoon, you forgot the whole civil service structures being 'blockers of change' before they even got to know the people... really warms the cockles towards a Tory that does.

well most of the senior civil service are from the same mould, i.e posh school so its no wonder isn't it

Do you own both of these items? :p

Yes. A broadsword. Friends brother is a swordsmith & blacksmith by trade.

I also have full body chainmail - that's about two feet too long both leg and arm - and I'm 6'1! Keep meaning to get someone to trim it.

Regardless, you trying to get yourself arrested? A sword? That's just giving them the easiest excuse ever ;)

Only jesting, but if I do I'm certainly going to make their afternoon uncomfortable.. in the most civil of political ways mind... ;)

Perhaps that is due to the circumstances in which they come into power and what they have to deal with. Lets face it, the last two times they have come into power have hardly been during a blosoming economy.
