If it were mcdonalds workers walking out, no one would bat an eyelid.
just because it might hinder their day, people are looking down on public sector workers for walking it.
Tube drivers however......![]()
The great irony of it all is that not only are they going to be damaging themselves but actively punishing the general public who are not responsible for this. For that I hold every single one of them in an extremely low opinion.
Going in despite the strike as I lose a day's pay and a term's attendance bonus if I strike. Not exactly great ethics but I need the money tbh...
yeah cos david cameron really breaks the mould compared to classic toriesits like the 80s policies all over again

attacks on employment rights - check
destruction of NHS - Check

Poor bashing - Check

You talking about the increase in education and NHS funding in 2007-2008?
In what manner?
Never I hope. What might occur though is a minimum turnout requirement for a strike, some of the turnouts for this strike have been so low as to be embarrassing.
Only works if you skills are in demand or there is decent competition in the work place to place value on employees. The "problem" with a lot of public sector work is that there is only one employer so no competition to increase employee value.
