Disgusting? lol, If you think that's disgusting you should get out more mate and see how people in the real world have to live. I parked in the handicapped spaces for 3 reasons.

1) Arrogance / Ego the size of the planet

2) Couldn't give a toss about people that may legtimately need the spaces

3) Lazyness

Sorry but none of these are good reason to take a disabled space. Taking a parent and baby space is one thing (not that I agree with it) but deliberately parking in a disabled space is entirely another.

Perhaps you would equaly enjoy the disability that would allow you to legitimately park in these spaces?

loser tbh.

Megakid's snipped bilge
so essentially you're argument is that because people managed and "got by" years ago, then improving safety and convenience for people that need it more than joe public is unnecessary?

in that case why give disabled people cars through motability...after all years ago they managed didn't they?

Yes disgusting, and none of your reasons are valid.

In your world only mate :)

You were there long enough both times for someone to check and give you a ticket. Supermarkets can get very busy very quickly, and what if plenty of those foolish enough to have no regard for others turn up?

Then there would be a lot of tickets issued that day and a lot of mildly irritated old people who would have to walk an extra 30 feet to buy scones and fish that day.

Someone taking the last P&C bay irked you so much you wanted to show the world by parking in a disabled spot? Wow, I bet you really showed him.

I had an eight month old baby in the car, I'm hardly gonna chase him down and cause a ruckus now am I.

Thats like seeing someone getting away with speeding and using it to try to get away with armed robbery.

Thats like blowing things out of proportion but that's what you're into I suppose.

Gilly said:
So? How does what they're doing have any effect on what you or I do?

Because I have a new born baby and I don't see why I should have to endure any more diffuculties than I have to just so that there's a space available for people who may or may not be handicapped.

Hope they're taking note of them all and when you eventually get taken to court you're hit with the lot at once :)

Well you would wouldn't you :) If they do take me to court it will be a waste of time and money on their part because I will simply refuse to take part and pander to their threats and extortion. All it takes is balls mate. It's a civil matter, not a criminal one, which is why they can go and take a running jump.

Bottom line, If I get clamped by a pirate clamping company I'll take an angle grinder to the thing, if I get a ticket by some fly by night parking attendant I'll tear it up because these people think they are a law unto themselves. I repesct the law and if the council clamped me or gave me a ticket then I would pay up because the laws that would have led to that are valid and clearly stated not made up as they go along.

Now it's a Sunday and my baby girl has just awoken I'm off to have some fun with her, enjoy the rest of your day.
