That was with UPS wasn't it? They're communication is less than stellar lol.
Not sure why Dell mix shipments with UPS and DHL... but DHL are whole lot better at communciating at least lol.

Weird. Mine came via UPS and I got updates at each stage of the process.

Mine was delivered by DHL and I got zero texts or updates. I did phone Dell tho and the agent I spoke to provided me with a tracking link, that's how I got to know that it was being delivered by DHL and not UPS.
If I hadn't have phoned to ask then zero contact would have been made.
Thankfully the monitor didn't come until after tea as we were out all day, not expecting a delivery.

I'm having the opposite experience, I've now just this minute had a text and email from DHL with my ETA of 14:24 - 15:24 
Even got a handy feature I can request to be notified when I'm the next stop lol
Maybe your contact info didn't pull through correctly to Dell/DHL somewhere?

Could be I do have the UPS app on my phone, as well as Hermes it seems...!
As each app is linked to my house address I do know that the UPS one will tell me if there are any parcels due for delivery that day regardless of getting a tracking link or number.
The Hermes app has informed me that they have a parcel to deliver, from an eBay purchase, again without a tracking number.
The DHL is now installed and hopefully will work the same, it appears it will as I have just set it up.
The agent I spoke to at Dell even confirmed my email and mobile, must have got messed up with DHL.
I noted one or two others from the HotDeals thread didn't get any notice before delivery either.
Main thing for me is that I have the monitor and it arrived safely.

Yeah,Got updated at 10 or something AM this morning its out for delivery and expected around 13:04 - 14:04,Currently driver is on stop number 24,Im drop 38 so hopefully not too long,Sadly wont get to test it much if at all today ;(
