Hello guys. Last week i bought : Gigabyte Rtx 3090 Gaming OC. Card is on box. Waiting for other parts of pc.
I read that topic:
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/foru...-oc-vision-power-connector-concerns.18900176/
Is this possible that i will have bad or bented pcie pins or faulty card? Maybe someone here with the same card? S/N: 2042....
Someone said that i have faulty card, so i am worried. Thanks. I hope i will be not get banned by posting link of other forum, srry btw.
What case and fans do you have?i sold my 3080 vision its just way to loud. Stock 74c over 2000rpms.
any pictures? thanks. The latest Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 3080s have a new bios and 1 new set of caps on the back of the card, so it seems they have changed a lot
Ive run into an Issue with my Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080.
I removed the card from my secondary machine to a new build, tried to connect the 2nd 8 pin, and pin 7/8 wouldnt go into the card, ive tried gently to get it in but nothing. I looked at the connector pins and they seemed a little bit over the place.
I finally managed to wiggle it in with care but now my card seems to be crashing and only pulling a low amount of power.
I assume I fall into this issue as discussed?
I sent a mail yesterday to the email address on the OP as im in the UK, but not had a reply yet. Is there a different process I should be taking for this under RMA ?
Ignore this, turns out the card has been tested and runs fine. I'm going to have to check my PCIE cables and extensions to see if the issue is there.Seems I'm really unlucky...
My card is from the 1st week production of this year and I've had my RTX 3080 Gaming OC die on me. It has the old style connectors. @GIGA-Man can you please help me?
From your picture the power pins look lined up and also not bended. If any of pin is pushed back that can cause issue that you described. Check all pins from the picture all looks fine. Did Pcie connectors from PSU went in smoothlyHello Guys, im from Germany. Perhaps you can help me. I bought a gigabyte rtx3090 Gaming OC in December. For a short time I have the problem that black screen happens while playing and I have to restart the computer. Teamspeak is apparently still running in the background, but no picture comes without restarting. Could it be because of the problem above?
I Look at the cable Management and it Looks like the faulty one.
