be quiet pure base dx 500. shadow silent wings 4 of em. also the card in idle starts fans way to often garbage card but i got 1100 € for it so i don't complain. im done with giagybte cards as these issues are on all of them 1070ti gaming oc, 1660 super gaming oc and so on i tested pretty much everyone and all of them where like this. literally just bought the vision because it was available ^^

Ive run into an Issue with my Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080.

I removed the card from my secondary machine to a new build, tried to connect the 2nd 8 pin, and pin 7/8 wouldnt go into the card, ive tried gently to get it in but nothing. I looked at the connector pins and they seemed a little bit over the place.

I finally managed to wiggle it in with care but now my card seems to be crashing and only pulling a low amount of power.

I assume I fall into this issue as discussed?

I sent a mail yesterday to the email address on the OP as im in the UK, but not had a reply yet. Is there a different process I should be taking for this under RMA ?

I Got my card back today from GBTech.

Nice shiney new connector and all connects great.

I've turned it on and after 60 seconds the 1st fan out of 3 closest to the Display ports is running 100%, i cant control this and afterburner is showing as 0 on the fan speeds. If i turn the fan speed on AB up, the other 2 fans kick in.

I'vd ddu'd my drivers incase but nothing, What can I do as this sounds like an airplane taking off and all im doing is sitting on desktop :(

Really upset about this :(

Hello Guys, im from Germany. Perhaps you can help me. I bought a gigabyte rtx3090 Gaming OC in December. For a short time I have the problem that black screen happens while playing and I have to restart the computer. Teamspeak is apparently still running in the background, but no picture comes without restarting. Could it be because of the problem above?
I Look at the cable Management and it Looks like the faulty one.

From your picture the power pins look lined up and also not bended. If any of pin is pushed back that can cause issue that you described. Check all pins from the picture all looks fine. Did Pcie connectors from PSU went in smoothly

I'm not a pro unfortunately, but I think they go in easily. The right one got a little hooked. I am at a loss. It is always when playing, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after 1 hour. black screen, Teamspeak can still be heard in the background. The LEDs on the card are still on and the fans are running. I have to do a hard reset. My computer dealer returned the card to me with no errors.

My System: i9 10900k no oc
Motherboard: Asus rog Strix z490 G matx
PSU: bequest dark pro 700W

if the all pins are intact and not pushed in the card connectors should be fine and issue lies somewhere else. Dont you have access to other card to test the PC. You should open own thread to receive more responses as it looks that issue isnt with power connectors

Seems like I'm not the only one with a problem the fans on their cards. I've got a Vision 3070 and only the middle fan is working and it's at over 3000 RPM according to GPU-Z and HWInfo and all I have open is this browser and Discord. My SN starts with 21 so I don't think it's one of the older problem connectors.

How long did it take to get a response from gigabyte on the faulty power connector issue? I've been waiting around a month now since finding this forum and still nothing
