30xx Series Founders Edition

Specs says that PSU should really be fine. It isn't a bad PSU at all.

Hitting voltage limit is just what cards do, I doubt that is important info to be honest.

Any mate near by with a rig you could try the card in?

If not I'd be tempted to try a clean os install before returning.

Hi, it's just crashing to desktop - another reason it's puzzling me, psu protection would shut the system down right? I've tried all my usual games - GTAV D3D device lost error or something like that, Cyberpunk flatlines, Total War Warhammer acts up too. Yeah fresh windows install and drivers etc seem up to date. Just GPU added, no problems at all previously. Windows performance is still fine, and running a game like Age of Empires 2 or Rimworld that doesn't stress it too much worked too. A real mystery

First nuke off any overclocking software like AB. Uninstall the GPU driver (prepare by downloading latest one online) and stop your machine going online in case it tries to update itself after a reboot (disconnect internet/adapter) and install the driver you recently got selecting fresh install or whatever it is.

Are you having Logitech G hub and/or HWInfo64?
I was having the same issues(Games just close while playing after few hours randomly). PC on a new Win10 installation. I couldn't figure it out. Ran memtest etc.
Untill i started closing unwanted apps. SO far I have closed the above 2 apps and ran a few long gaming sessions and have not had any crash. Need to test this further to isolate what it is.

Seems like I've got a good card and I couldn't be more happy after discovering this undervolting method. I'm now at .800/1800 after testing through the night and still able to get the same performance out of my 3080Fe.

Max temps of 59oC. However that is with my case fans on a new profile that has increased the noise of my set up substantially. See of I can live with the noise as since undervolting and changing my cooling set up I've managed to chop 20 degrees off the card. Admittedly my case did need it's yearly overhaul from dust and since going from 1070>3080 I've seen a.hige increase in heat.

Have you tried underclocking the cards VRAM?

Are you having Logitech G hub and/or HWInfo64?

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I've tried pretty much everything, haven't got time to mess around with it at the moment, still can only get it stable at ~1500MHz. Will try it on a fresh OS on Monday and hope for the best. Happy Xmas everyone

Got the Phanteks 12 pin PSU cable today. Rather beefy bit of it. Heavier than the stock PSU cables. Shame it's not braided as a whole though, tempted to braid myself with some heat wrap off Amazon or something.

Cool, contacted Phanteks as well a couple of days ago about the cable, and they confirmed they will be sending me one out.

Is it free?

I contacted Seasonic. They wanted 19£ Inc delivery.
I don't care that much about the cables anymore lol.

I got it a year ago from seasonic thanks to another forumite posted the link. Good that phanteks are offering it now!
