got this hd as backup

just re arranged casing and booted up and this hard drive wont do anything

i took the power cable from my raptor and sata cable, plugged into this one and turned comp back on and nothing....

had this since 5th september....

is it dead?

any tricks i can try?

Usually a trashed drive will still spin up, and you'll hear the clicks of death or something along those lines. Sounds dead to me mate, but I'm no expert.

Have you tried a different power cable? Different port? If it's a backup surely you still have the original files/data etc??
