To be fair you post this in pretty much every new car thread, it seems what you really want is.. a car :p

The latter half of that post is true. :p

I'm a tad desperate for one now, specially as I've been offered a car (basically whatever I want within reason!)

Oh Phate, what are you like? The lines you come out with are priceless.

Come on then lets get going, you've been offered 'whatever you want' as a car? Really?

It's quite simple really. Dads offered to buy me, my sister and my brother a car each. I instantly asked for an MG and he said no because he get fed up of working on the last one :p - Anyway, don't trash the thread, I'll be on msn in a minute if you want to question it further :)

Well there we go then, simply ask for an E92 335i?

I said within reason. 20odd grands worth of car is not within reason (I'm not a mickytaker)

A few grand on a car however, is.

Plus I need to be able to afford to run whatever I get.

This.

If your dad actually buys you one, I will not be best pleased...

Its 11 years old on January 4th. I'll bake a cake!

Also Fox (you may find this interesting) guess how much repairing the rear subframe tearing cost? I have the receipt in front of me.

There we go then, 'any car I want' might sound more impressive than 'My dads given me a couple of grand to get a car' but it invites far more questions, so don't do it :p

It wasn't said with the intention of "Dad will buy me a lambo if I want" - Just that he's offered to buy me a car. I wasn't trying to showboat! :)

Do not buy from the first autotrader link, that garage in Wallington is run by complete criminals and won't honour any warranties given. My story short, bought car, they changed the cam belt as agreement of the sale, 2 months later cam belt snap, engine bang. Lots of grief followed.

Stay well clear.

Already bought a car buddy. Thanks anyway though!
