3570k,core voltage not lowering in idle

If you have llc on extreme the voltage will be higher, try lowering it. Download Gigabyte 3D power and you can lower it inside windows while Prime is running. :D

ok,back again, llc set to low and offset is 0.0020,running 4.4ghz @1.308,70*c hottest core after about an hour, idles fine @ 1.6ghz,0.9v so it appears alls good, although i have had the odd blue screens, not sure what this is ,however i have now set achi back to ide and things seem to have calmed down now,i might do a fresh install of windows next week and set achi BEFORE i install windows, thanks for the help

Yes AHCI should be enabled before installing windows. Have you tried using just 0.000V and Turbo LLC? Should be okay for most 3570K. I find on LOW my Vcore can fluctuate, so I have it on Turbo/Medium as a minimum to try keep it more constant voltage under load.

Have you ran memtest to check your ram for errors? CPU can be stable as you like but if you have memory errors it can explain the bluescreens.

Good job either way. :D
