360 or PS3 for GTA V?

Ill get the ps3 version then cheers mate.

Comparison screen shots show the 360 has slightly more detail. Can't comment on how it plays though. Bare in mind you will to buy gold as well if you want to play it online with a 360

Looks exactly the same just PS3 brightness needs turning down that's all as it's too high and making colours look washed out.
Anyway as I've shown above the PS3 seems to have better textures.
Both games are near enough identical.
It's definitely a bit different to Read dead redemption where it actually ran at a lower resolution on ps3 compared to 360. I reckon they've done a decent job this time at getting GTA5 optimised for both.
I'm sticking with PS3 as I am likely to replace my 360 with a One. Shame though as I think driving is much better with the triggers on the 360 pad.
I really don't like the dualshocks triggers for that :*(

to be honest i actually think the 60gb phat is the best performer, since moving to a slim ive seen more slowdowns and testures takes a tick longer to load
Eurogamer's Digital Foundry has their GTA V face off going live at 11am tomorrow apparently.
Instead of listening to a load of fanboy opinions it might be worth waiting to have a read.
One thing to note, a lot of people are mistakenly installing the play disk on the 360 which makes texture performance quite a bit worse.
Ultimately from what I have seen both appear pretty fantastic, and I don't think you can go wrong either way. If cost means anything 360 wouldn't need a year live sub if you won't keep the console beyond GTA.
I'm on the fence until tomorrow personally.

I had this with my Slim until upgrading to a nice large WD black HD.
Hmmm, quite a big difference here, Im surprised considering the net it saying there is hardly any difference and you cant even notice. This pic says otherwise IMO.

The biggest difference is probably going to be what controller you prefer. I prefer the 360 pad for driving, but prefer the PS3 contoller for third person games....
