360 or PS3?

LOADS of threads on them mate, I'd suggest searchign on here and google as your going to get a total mixed bunch of replies.

Get both. Best of both worlds :)
 
The consoles are mostly irrelevant (although the PS3 pad gives me hand cramps) so just get whatever one has the games you want.

I have both and like them the same, best thing to do is if your after 1 or the other get down to the high street have a go at both and see which 1 you prefer

OP: Personal preference TBH. They're both pretty much the same spec so it all depends on what games you're after and if Blu Ray or HD is important.
 
I own both and can agree that it really is a matter of personal preference, they're both great consoles.

It's all about Games really.....have a mess around on both and see what you think. I must say though that I am so glad I got my 360 - :D
 
360 is at the moment is cheaper and more developed (games wise) and of course the online system is excellent.

Halo 3 beta is out on 16th May too.
 
Neither is better, they both have different bonuses, but 360 has more quality games out for it at the moment.
 
360 is cheaper and has a larger games catalogue with great online play. IMHO it also has better controllers.

PS3 has bluray and will no doubt have a great catalogue of games in the future.

I'm a cheapskate and on that basis as well as the games available (some great stuff for £10-£15) I'd go with the 360. Had my 360 since release and love it. Will buy a PS3 at some point though, maybe at Xmas.
 
Again, really re-iterating what's already been said.

I own both and wouldn't say either is better as both have their advantages.

If you want a more immediate catalogue of games (both in store and online) then the 360 is right choice. If you're not so fussed about the immediate lack of titles then it's more down to what you're willing to pay for the hardware.
 
For me its always has and allways will be about the games.

Got a PS1 for FF7, MGS and GT
Got a PS2 for FFX, God of War
Got a XBOX for Ninja Gaiden, Fable and KOTOR
Got a 360 for Gears, PGR, TDU, Forza

Bought none at release, waited till there was the killer app for it. At the moment the 360 has some excellent games and a decent back catalogue of titles.

The PS3 is the new kid, couple of good lauch titles but nothing to stir me to buy one, that being said when the killer app appears Ill no doubt take the plunge.

Personal opinion says 360 now as its a mature product in the market place, ask again in 6-8 months and it could well be the PS3 is the one to go for.

Of course this is all personal opinion, I have no brand loyality or fanboyism I go where the games I want to play are :).

Which launch titles are these? Don't get me wrong - When I saw Motorstorm I was impressed, but I was very dissapointed with Resistance: Fall Of Man. I thought the game was terrible...

I havent seen or played either, but the general opinion seems to be there 'ok' games.

I wouldnt like to pass more comment without playing them.
