I'll try something else, but i downloaded Double Dragon earlier in around 30 - 40 secs, was nice and fast.

Downloaded the update, haven't had chance to really test it out, impressed that it shows what game is in the 360 now. I was going to moan about them not fixing that, I always forget what I played last!

vga quality is so much better now they have give you the option to change the video reference levels for vga well done ms.

Just updated, went to play GOW and got an error saying

"to play this disc, put it in an x box 360 console" lol

Hmm strange guitar hero works fine, but GOWs giving me all different errors now from dirty disc to play the disc in an xbox :/

Its coincidence. Your 360 is dieing but has nothing to do with the update. it would die anyway. Nearly everyday somones on here has one die. Just a coincidence it's on this day.

I would use my VGA cable but Component gives a much sharper picture on my TV, R74, as i can adjust sharpness of component but not VGA.

If i could adjust sharpness i would use VGA, at the moment its too blurry!

Updated mine just now, all my original discs work on live as do my backups. Apart from the Marketplace tab being added and MSN, there isn't much difference. I wont be using MSN LIVE but if you can get a USB keyboard working that's still a good idea.
