Since the update my 360 takes an age to auto sign in to live :confused:

If I over ride it to sign in, it does straight away.

Anyone else?

mines opposite, before the update took ages, now does it straight away, i do have messenger disabled though if that makes any difference as MSN does not interest me in the slightest on a console

mine only lags with msn enabled or if my pc is downloading and i have no bandwidth

There isn't really any benefit to updating for people who don't have Live.

The new achievement icon is the only thing I can think of that will be any different.

It is, just don't use intermediate as it is completely pointless!

ok so its good how can i update without xbox live.

last time i did it i had to download from the us site then burn a disk cus uk site dont list it as download only live update.

is it a good idea to do it via us (if they have it for download havent checked yet?).

mines always taken an age to auto sign in, but only the first time it's switched for the day. subsequent auto sign ins are really quicK (ie after i've eaten or popped out)

Brilliant. Thanks to the update, the monitor that I bought specifically to play Xbox 360 now works with it. It didn't before.

I always thought it was a problem with the Xbox or the monitor so now it's became clear that i'm merely a noob. Nevermind, looking forward to playing again now.

i think its 1 update no matter where you are so it should be fine..

ok just looked after all that they are still finalyzing the updates so they have all but download to disk and burn will wait a few days like it says cheers.
