If that is what you believe then so be it, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, your perfectly entitled to your opinion, I have nothing to prove here, I am who am, I have more important things to fill my mind with than worries of what people may or may not think about me on an internet forum, since I've been a member here this place is continually teaching me one single important lesson, one that I'm still far from mastering although I hope to improve upon, that lesson is tolerance, thankyou for helping me with that.
I've seen plenty of people say they won't buy a PS3 because they hate Sony's business practices (not on here that I can remember mind you ), which is laughable when they are hugging an MS product. Same goes for anyone who thinks Nintendo loves them, /slap, they don't, stop it.
I think a lot of the business practices they don't like is purely down to the fact that if they could drop Europe, they would. Or that they only gave the ability to use 2 controllers on their last 2 consoles (I know back on the PS2 launch this caused a real hoo-ha).
Other than that, Sony are pretty great.

How about you just stop doing it? You can clearly see it gets people's backs up yet you continue to do it, it's childish.
.Why would they drop their biggest market???![]()
No, I'm doing nothing wrong, people are overreacting it's as simple as that, my posts are structured and spell checked to the best of my ability, I always try to be fair and objective, but because I choose to use a dollar sign over the letter 'S' a few people on here get upset because it may be misconstrued as being negative towards a company that know one on here has sworn an allegiance with,
Why anyone would be so desperate to defend either M$ or Sony with such vigilance is beyond me, people on here criticise Muslims/Gays/Religion and it's all fun and games, but someone chooses to call a company 'M$' (which I think is actually a pretty cool acronym for Microsoft considering they are extraordinarily wealthy) and people get all uppity.
What I think is funny though is say for example I didn't like M$, (which isn't true), would that not be allowed on here ?, because I know plenty of people that don't like the company and it's past business practises, but I have no problem with these people, they are free to like and dislike and even portray those likes/dislikes towards that company how they see fit as long as it's within the law, and I would defend that right all day long,
Just out of interest I searched this forum for the word '$ony', oh, what a surprise, http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/search.php?searchid=5349555, I'm struggling to find anyone that has criticised somebody for using '$ony', even in heated threads like this http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17637857&highlight=$ony&page=2 where Nokkonwud (who was the one that first criticised me for the use of M$) was posting regularly and didn't object to people using the term '$ony', very strange that isn't, but then why should he, I don't have a problem with it, but people have a problem with 'M$'.

My point is that, despite being their biggest market, they treat it (us) like ****, it's like it's an effort to cater for Europeans.
Thats be cause it is, think how many languages there are in the EU block, for usa its 1/1 for japan its 1 eu what 10 or something ridiculous like that.
Oh god no![]()
As for this topic.. blah, blah, blah... quite frankly I don't understand why people have to turn these things into a 'war', just look at HD-DVD/BR, you wheren't allowed to just enjoy both, no, you had to take sides and be part of the war.. and as the BR/HD-DVD 'war' shows, the victory is very hollow when you realise the only people that lose are the consumers!.
This thread has lost direction and missed the point
