I just recently put in a pair of 36GB raptors into my main machine which has a DS3 mobo. I was going to use the supplied yellow sata cables, however I found that they didn't fit the raptors due to the little metal clip on them being too thick.
Good job I had plenty of other coloured ones from other motherboards.
Perhaps this info could be added to the HDD sticky or something? Just incase someone else buys these drives and doesn't have spare cables.
I don't know why people moan about raptor noise either, it's not that bad! Unlike the WD SE16's which you can't even hear!
