370Z reliability?

I just don't buy the it needs 99 ron fuel. Its not like its a Japan import and even then its debatable. I had a dc5 many moons ago which everyone said needed v power. Used to out 95 ron in and did the world end? Nope.

I had a DC5 as well, did you ever log your ignition advance from the ECU when running on 95 compared to 99? I did and there was a difference so the engine was defiantly detecting knock on 95 and retarding it, i only ran mine on it a couple of times in an emergency and kept the revs down out of VTEC as i didn't fancy a hole in my piston if i had a slightly worse batch of fuel and it couldn't retard enough. But Honda engines are very reliable and will put up with a lot but you won't have been getting peak performance for sure.
