GTX gets 7096 @ 2,560 x 1,600 on standard 3dmark06
It gets 2536 on 3DMark06 HDR/SM3.0
hmm
Will we be able to have 2 of these in a machine? Crossfired crossfire?
Should be able to have 4.
CrossfireX only supports 4 GPU's atm.
So 2 x 3870X2's or 4 x 3870's.
I linked to an article which says that MSi will have a mobo that can support 4x 3870's.
WOw 2560x1600!
Yes, bumping up the res has a natural AA effect. The 'Jaggies' get smaller and smaller.so the higher the res you have, the less aa you need?

apparently the first 3d mark score, note the res it was run at.![]()
also it was running at 8x PCIe instead of 16x which the performance of these cards will be a bottleneck
I never heard of that before?It was running at PCI-E 2.0 8X which is like PCI-E 16X I think.
How will they be a bottleneck? It was running at PCI-E 2.0 8X which is like PCI-E 16X I think.
So if you already have a 3870 could you crossfire it with a 3870x2??
