Test fitted with stock cooler, 35 degrees @ 1.4something in bios.
must have been a faulty thermal sensor, which would also explain no temp drops between the stock wraith cooler and the 360 Aio.

That one we'll never know. I'm inclined to think the former.So was the first chip actually running at a sensible temp but reporting wrongly or badly soldered so running hot and reporting correctly?
