3930K @ 4GHz - x40 AutoV?

No worries!
I just received the other 32GB pack back from RMA, they replaced it.
So I guess if these have errors when placed individually at stock settings then it will be conclusive that it is not an issue with the RAM.

I honestly dont think all 8 sticks could ever be all faulty. Its a board, bios or CPU IMC problem this.

I think its most probable that the AUTo settings detected during memory training are not stable settings and you will need to post them up so I can trouble shoot.

Yeah, I agree. I put all 8 sticks in last night and system is stable as it was before with the OC, but still memtest errors and not passing max intelBurntest or Prime95.

I will post the settings tonight, sorry for the delay mate had a few issues at work Ive had to work on.

I'll had type them all for you rather than screen shots.

Oh and also, as a thank you for looking into this mate - if you are on O2 for your mobile, my fiance works for them and I can stick a 30% F&F discount on your account for you. If your not on O2 then please accept a internet 'fist bump'.

If you are send me a message on my website. Just google my name and it will be the first hit: 'Kristopher Fisher Audio'. (I have not idea if you can PM on this forum!)

Thanks for the offer mate.

I work for OCUK and this section is where users get to ask me the number one ranked overclocker in teh UK anything and I try to help.

I get your system up and running and a satistied customer is all I am looking to gain.

Again the offer is much appreciated though.

Here you go mate, have a gander!

Wow! That's a lot of lines, hope that's okay for you buddy.

Cheers!

Yes, still errors regardless of setup:

1 stick at a time CH-A.
2 sticks at a time CH-A.
4 sticks in CH-A/B.
8 sticks in CH-A/B + C/D.

I have tested with the replacement ram on its own also. I highly doubt that what is effectively 12 sticks of ram (original 8 + replacement 4) are all faulty haha.

Also just a note mate:

When I had stock settings and 8 sticks in a would get BSODs all the time.
Then when I had 4 in the amount of BSODs reduced but I would still get them.
Then when I put the OC on at played about I would have no BDOS - I would only fail the maximum test of IBT or Prime95 after an hour.
Since I have put all 8 stick back in I have also had NO BSODs what so ever.

So what I am trying to say is since the current OC settings which I posted up have been applied I have not had any BSODs or restarts etc of any kind. I only fail torture tests etc at max settings.

IBT is crap!! I said ages ago forget this POS. Even intel dont use it!! It places ridiculous stress on the Silicon and is more a cpu killer than a stability test.

Memtest is the interesting one here. Lets try get this one stable.

Set the following numbers working down your bios for each channel:

9-10-9-28 auto Make sure Command Rate 2T

Then set
tRRD 6
T Ref Cycle Time 296
tWR 16
tRTP 20
tFAW 40
tWTR 20
tCKE 6
tWCL 8

Memory Voltage 1.6v
VTT 1.15
IO 1.2

See how this goes and report back!!!

Okay, 9-10-9-28 set.
Command Rate (tCMD) is set to 2

As for the other settings:

tRRD is set to 6
T Ref Cycle Time - there is nothing that says this? Is this what tRFC is?
tWR is set to 16
tRTP is set to 15 - You said 20 but the max it allows is 15.
tFAW is set to 40
tWTR is set to 15 - You said 20 but this max it allows is 15.
tCKE - there is no option for this, not mention of it anywhere.
tWCL - there is also no option of mention of this in the BIOS.

Also VTT - Do you mean CPU VTT or Memory Profile VTT? (Profile VTT is grey'ed out in the memory section)
IO 1.2 - What is this?

Cheers - Kris
