3930k COOLING LOOP

I've been watching this thread with interest as I'm about to embark on my first water cooling setup soon, so it's good to see how you're getting on :)

Looks good, be great to see it all up and running :)

From the water cooling sticky it mentions that if it's your first time leak testing, do it for about 24hrs, or to whatever you are comfortable with, me I think I'll do it for 12 and 12, so I'm around to keep an eye on it :)

How do you rate the quality of those Corsair braided cables? One tech site that also has a big YouTube following didn't rate them that we'll, but I must admit its tempting me, otherwise I'm going to manually braid my entire XFX 850W XXX PRO PSU

Quality looks ok,but to be honest just took them out the wrappers tonite so time will tell

Didn't want to press the start button.

I'm still jumping at every noise now

Been testing since 9 this morning so i'm hoping that theres no surprises

Itching to connect everything back up and see what difference it has made.
One thing i have noticed is its quiet, scary quiet compared to b4.

just sitting there watching when i should be gaming, but not long now.
I asked in your post how long did you leak test?

12 hrs running no leaks so all looks good.
However i've notice lots of very small bubbles in the res and no where else,
the bubbles are against the small glass window on the res(see photo)sorry about the quality.

I presume this is nothing to worry about but thought it was best to ask :)

All tests now complete, just the issue left of mini air bubbles in the res only but that seems to be clearing.

Its eerie quiet now, never had such a quiet PC.:)

Idle temps have dropped a good 10 degrees across all cores which surprised me.
Gonna run P95 just to see the diff this has made.

Just like to thank everyone who has chipped in with advice,
thats why i joined this forum.

Micro bubbles! :) You will miss them when they are gone! :)
But yeah it will take couple of days or more to clear all of them!

I just saw your thread now and you didn't have to put the GPUs in to do the leak test you know? You could have connected them up after a successful leak test!
