3d Mark 06 scores thread

How did you get 05 to run on an MX440? AFAIK 05 needed DX9 hardware whereas the MX440 only supported DX7 in hardware

ps lots of people arent going in on technicalities like no specs etc. If you have a high score and wanna get on the table, repost with your specs.(if you just edit your entry chances are it wont get seen)

ALSO I dont intend to delve through sigs to look for specs.

if people haven't given you the full info just don't add them, you stipulated the requirements in the first post so it is their own fault if they don't follow them.

P.s. can you just erase any results over 4100 so i am top of the list :rolleyes:

I think we need proof of screen res aswell to prevent cheaters....... i.e screenie showing res or ORB link.

Tom, I know you don't want to trawl through ORB links for scores, but for those of us who have already posted scores & specs and included an ORB link as well would you check the ORB links to confirm the res? (Otherwise I have to run the damn test again!

Only got the standard one and all my screens go up to 1280x1024

I think people who post a ORb link and there scores can be trusted without a doubt, no need to look at the links people will soon find out if there cheaters..... yea showing a screen res is all thats needed, I think some are very iffy.... suicide runs should be allowed, but again must prove res.

Its up to you on the rules WELSHTOM after all its your hardwork going in to the rankings

I,ve noticed that the Intel systems are fairing quite well with the AMD systems with 3d mark2006, I think this edition must work really well with dual core/hyper threading, just on stock I get 4111, if I o/c cpu, gpu, I get 4455 which not the best score but a lot more than I expected.
