I got an AMD single core 2.7Ghz, x1900xt does almost 5k in 06. That score looks low for the money.

New system with a Conroe 6600 2.4Ghz, 2GB Geil 6400 and an Nvidia 7950GX2 all running at stock and no tweaking done yet. Looks like 10k will be quite easy with some mild clocking

Regarding your score my overclocked Pentium D is better than your Core 2 Duo, but your GX2 trounces my X1900XT-X, would the Core 2 Duo be doing anything better than my Pentium D on your Graphics tests? Didnt no the GX2 was that good!

Seeing as your Pentium D is clocked to over 4Ghz I'm not surprised it beats it....and that was only by the skin of its teeth. Just wait until I get it to about 3Ghz

Are you clocking your X1900XT-X ? Wouldn't say it was trouncing it but definitely a good margin between them.

I'll try a bit of overclocking today and see if i can hit that magical 10k barrier

I was just wondering about the CPU really, not boasting. I was wondering if the C2D had anything to do with the Graphics part of 3dmark06 or was it just the pure power of the GX2.
