your cpu is overclocked a lot lot more than mine, and your gts is allso heavyly clocked, and my score is 2 points higher :p

and i was only on 3347mhz cpu, and 800/1800 HD 2900 XT,

looks like ati wins when it comes to GTS vs 2900 :)

From what I remember the HD2900XT does quite well in 3DMark06, it's only in games that it's shortcomings* are shown. Now that I've said that I can't find a single review with a 3DMark comparison, so I might just be talking out of my butt :p

Perhap's as your spec is almost identical to mine we could agree on a CPU speed and compare some game benchmarks? (With the card's both at stock, and then overclocked).

* Relative to individual opinion :p
 
Heres my 3D Mark 06 score, please note, this was run with the 158.22 drivers, but it says they are not WHQL/FM approved.

Also 3D Mark06 cannot read my CPU settings correctly, it states 3834mhz (i wish) when it should say 8/426 = 3400mhz.

E6600 @ 3400 (8/426)

ok, all updated.

There are however a lot of incorrect links posted. Aswell as people completely getting the wrong format. There's even a post where someone used someone elses link :confused: by accident ofcourse, but nonetheless incorrect.

If your not on the list it's due to one of these reasons. Can we please stick to using this format....

I know it can be a pain but you each only have your own to do.....I have everyones sig to look through to build the table otherwise :(

Well you did quote it has to have the word compare ;)

id of uploaded it to futuremark but i was in such a hurry to take my 2900 to stock, i dont want to damage my baby :D

I know, i'm beginning to wonder if i have a duff one or not. Tried going in with OC at 660/2000, passed the ntune test but froze 3dmark06 in the first test even when i lower both speeds a little. Starting from the bottom working my way up atm with the memory clock first, hopefully i can find out what's limiting me.

Also this morning when i run 3dmark with the card at stock and the cpu at 2.5 i got 100 points more than when i swapped out my 2x1gb mem kit for a new 2x2gb kit, everything else was setup exactly the same with the ram only running slightly under 800mhz. The old 2 gig kit was only pc5300 as well, theis new one is 6400 :confused:

does this look right to you ? SLI 7900GS, if so put me on the leader board as the only SLI/Dual core rig :p

Not bad for a Dell XPS running a quad at 3.2 but only using the multi. to overclock via the bios, no fsb increases here. And a pair of gtx's overclocked to 660/1000.
