Which no-one looks at
How much did that predator cost to make if it took 4kg of plastic?
Looks great btw
How many of these are designed and how many of them are downloaded? The groot with name plate for example?
Ive just built my 3d printer (winter project this is)
It's a prusa mk3 and I have no idea what to expect. Just finished the calibration today.
pretty impressed with the bridges it can print with no support
I'm frequently like "no way!" by the bridges mine manages... then buoyed with confidence from that try something else a little ambitious overhang wise and it ends up a disappointing mess LOL.
Got some wood stuff somewhere might have to try Groot in that.
seems a lot of people sell designs rather than provide them for free.So do people design these things and post them online for people with 3D printers to download and make stuff with?
I think the vast array of stuff on thingiverse would disagree. Paid models are in the minority.seems a lot of people sell designs rather than provide them for free.

Expected your setup to be four figures for some reason. My printer https://www.aliexpress.com/item/201...cf8c-458a-80bc-c6605aa87aab&priceBeautifyAB=0
The Groot above costs about 80p in material and a few pence in electricity. Also, it's not that tiny, it's 15cm tall.

I now need to find a way to not buy one on a whim....
