NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 video card benchmark result - Intel Core i9-10850K Processor,Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MEG Z490 UNIFY (MS-7C71) (3dmark.com)

Its run a couple of times at 5.2 (max 9696) but error message, does that mean cpu is throttling?

Found it means not fully stable. Can complete run and seem like all done, but you get a error message if it's right on edge of stability.

https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/63671701? 5Ghz all cores 10900k OCUK OC bundle. Uncore at x48 (max that will boot). Really needs the overclock setup to give a good ST score. Cinebench r20 this is about just >6500 points MT. 5.2-5.3GHz videos are =>6700 on youtube. No voltage changes from the stock settings. Just a one off for this benchmark. Most people will want to dial it in abit, so this help you know want you get at 5GHz. RAM is 3600 MT/s CL14 8-pack. This is at maximum on primaries at stock with this motherboard, as all slots are full for dual rank. The frequency cannot be increased on the RAM or no boot.

Looks like 10900k should get close to 10k max threads if you really go for it. You need 5.4-5.5GHz all cores (ST 940-955 at this frequency). ST will hit 900+ at 5.2GHx. Will equal the 5950x ST at 5.3GHz. Hopefully someone has this type of overclock.

Bringing up the rear,

i7-8565 @ 4.5Ghz or whatever the laptop will let it do before throttling, will try on my main machine later.

Getting it stable is tricky though, I can overclock 10850k to 5.3 all core, but 5.1 is highest that will get a result in this bench. Would have thought 10900k would go to 5.2/3 with a good mobo as its better binned?

Wow very nice. Got to confess do not understand that score (not doubting it FYI) and some on this benchmark in general. Lower clock speeds and numbers across every run compared with Lt Matt's but the MT one jumps ahead!
