3dmark with x1950 pro ,!

Of course your score is good. I'm actually quite disappointed as a pair of overclocked 6800GS's were doing 5800 for me. I sold those and bought the 7900, which isn't a whole lot better. I guess I'm in the market for another one now....

your score is very low considering you have a very highly overclocked conroe.

check the pic above to see my score using just a single core cpu and running xp 64bit

Not sure why you think his score is low considering he's using an X1950Pro (equal to an X1900GT) and you're using an X1900XT. I am actually very impressed by the scores he's getting, overclocked Conroe or not.

I just built a system for a friend with a Sapphire X1950Pro, Defaults were 580/1400 and it scored 10900 (3dMark05) with his [email protected] and when I eventually managed to get it overclocked without it crashing on me it was just shy of 12,000 @ 690/1700ish I cannot tell if the mem settings were correct.

Needless to say I was very impressed and when I go bad to see him I shall run '06 to see what occurs with that.

That's very impressive too, easily X1800XT+ performance there.

just ordered windows xp home , as i have windows xp64 , and drivers are limited!
so with an official copy ahem , i should be able to get omega drivers!

as said you are running a high range x1900xt , the x1950 pro has only 36 pixel shader etc , and is replacemnt for 1900 gt , a mid range card .....

just played battle field 2142 everything MAXXED wowww , my 6800gt stuttered around , at medium setting!

My 6800 GT, and with a much old processor (AMD 64 3200+) and same amount of RAM managed only 1k less than that score. Doesn't seem much of a difference to be truthful.

EDIT: Sorry I thought that was 3DMark05, lol. My system gets less than half that score, which turns it right around and makes it a cracking card, at a cracking price too! Man if I were on PCI-E I'd definitly consider it as a mid-term solution before upgrading to a revised 8800 GTX later.

Thats a very good score, I'm getting 11000+ with my dual 1950's at stock so that is an excellent score for a mid range single card solution.

thing is the x1900xt 256mb is hardly top end and paired with a single core cpu and running on x64 with crippled 64bit drivers its hardly pulling much power.
thing is everyone says that there is not much difference between the x1900xt and the x1950pro but the benchmarks seem to suggest that there is a far bigger difference between the cards than people want to believe.

Agreed but the price/performace angle is good for the pro

I don't see anyone saying that, just that the scores for the X1950Pro are beyond expectations.

Or it is far smaller than you want to believe ;) Ok he has a dual core CPU which may add 5-600 points. It is still very close to your score (I presume it was with the card clocked?) and you can buy the x1950pro with a good cooler for <£130... you can't the x1900xt and the power usage is lower on the x1950pro, lower heat output etc.

my scores are on xp64 as well

whoa thats fantastic. i get 11051 with my card overclocked to 660core and 825ram. either my cpu is really holding me back or iv not setup the drivers properly.

looks like the x1950pro is an amazing card for the money.

What drivers are you running?

For reference this is the score I got when I had my old gaming system (spec is in the details)
