Ok so here it is its going to be a toss up between the Panasonic TX-P46GT30B or the LG 47LW
650T 47 both at the same price range, whos gonna be the one to persuade me which on to get??

That's the bit you have to do I'm afraid choose one. People inc myself have given you an opinion on what they think the better TV is but its your money so you have to make that final choice. Why don't you go to currys and get them to show you them side by side showing the same content, it might be obvious to you then which one to go for

I recently purchased a 50" GT30B, I'm really impressed by it to be honest. I must warn you there will be a small buzzing sound when brighter images are displayed but the sound varies from set to set and shouldn't be too annoying.

As for 3D, I checked it out in store and was 10x better compared to LED/LCD, with hardly any crosstalk at all, if any.

+1 for the TX-P46GT30B

Well sod this , I've just seen this. LG 50PZ550T 50" Full HD Plasma 3D TV for
£600 , has a saving of £400 and has some free glasses

still the GT30... panasonic are simply the best plasmas atm... that's why they have a bit of a price tag!
