Absolutely - if I use RAID 0 then I always have another internal drive in non RAID 0 as a backup drive (which is then copied to external drives).
Basically you connect all the drives and then configure which are part of a RAID array and which type of array. The remaining drives are accessible as normal.
However I am baffled by it, i understand that i must setup raid in the bios however when i select raid in the IDE configuration any SATA drives installed tend to disappear unless i chage it back to the default which it IDE!
Also reading the guide it sounds like i have to install the OS before i am able to create and array?
