How do you run 1:1, is the FSB divider something to do with it? I've just done nearly 6 hours 50mins of orthos at 4Ghz 1.344V.

425Mhz * 9.5multi, cpu was running at 65,turned the fan on the CPU up, its not at 55-60, interesting but weird as its randomly dropped 5 degrees just like that, now its back to 63.

My memory is just under stock.

Every chip is different, so you'll have to work out the settings for yours.

Aye, I been fiddling and 500fsb is a lot more stable now, just did 3 loops of crysis and I'm amazed of how much quicker it loaded at 500fsb, no speed boost there compared to on my P45 Plat, was getting 33fps, about 25-26 on this but then again I have not installed any chipset drivers or anything.

I upped the CPU voltage to 1.4V and going to lower it slowly.

**EDIT**

Crashed in Orthos within 1 min, don't understand, so far in Orthos at 510Mhz fsb but at x6 multi its fine, ok I'm on at 3.060Ghz, I don't understand why at 4Ghz its failing, cant be voltage?

im going to give up cant get ram stable,
i can pass small fft's in orthos, but as soon as a try blend it stops.

ive backed of to 3.8ghz, and i am happy with that, rock solid stable.

i tried upping voltage on the ram, slacking the timmings caused no post sometimes.

If i learn more over the next few weeks i may revisit and try to go higher.

only 6400

so it is, i may try putting on the bios from ketts over weekend, but i want to game on it now not tweek

yes thats what i thought, oh well only bought it last week so no chance i can get any more ram for a while.

at least i have seen 9 x 450 in windows so i know the rest of the system can handle a little more umph, when / if i ever get better ram.

Thanks for all the help in these threads, good luck getting 500fsb stable

A little tip for those that can pass small fft's but fail blend quickly. This only applies if you are running 2x1gig of ram. If you have tRFC set to auto, set it to 2x your tRAS setting. Blend will more often than not fail if tRFC is set too loose. On most mobos the auto setting for tRFC will be 42, which is far too loose when you start raising the fsb past 490.

Where is the tRFC? I cant find it whats is it called in the P5Q-E bios?

I am getting errors in blend now.

I'm at 3Ghz 510fsb, thing is my ram is only at 1022Mhz when stock is 1066Mhz, timings are also at stock which are 5-5-5-15 and also at stock voltage.
