I'm living in the Lake District and I can't think of any retailers that stock good mice. I will have to buy before I try. My current mouse is tiny, laptop mouse I think. When using a mouse I like to keep my wrist planted in one position and move the mouse with my fingers. So I guess I need a small'ish mouse, just bigger than my currentone.

The G5 looks good, as does the Death Adder. hmmm . . .

Umm, so are all the big manufactureres getting it wrong, as a lot of the new 'gaming' mice seem to be laser. Including offerings from the likes of Razer who tend to know their stuff...

They're not getting it wrong in terms of money grubbing, as 721837239813dpi gimmicks will get them lots of money, lasers like g5 skip unlike the cheaper opticals like mx5**.

You'll either be a Razer user or a Logitech user, try both, see which you prefer. They are like the BMW and Audi of Mice

This is utter bullcrap! The G5 does not skip! its accurate in games & its a laser mouse! Used mine for over a year now.
