Hi there

I was in Taiwan and took a quick visit to TeamGroup HQ, recently they have employed veteran overclocker Kevin Wu, a good friend of 8 Packs and I noticed they had a lot of Samsung IC.

I suggested them to do some binning and testing which has yielded some great results to the point we have over 50 kits of 3866MHz memory on the way, some of these kits can even hit 4000MHz Memtest stable with slightly slacker timings. Hugely impressive but even more so the fact this RAM you can actually buy:

In real life terms, what difference is there between 4000 RAM and 1600 RAM? Is there any noticeable difference or are we talking 1 second to do something, difference...i.e. having 4k RAM is more for epeen and forum sigs lol :p

How do you get your head through the door? !!!
we had it specially modified for him :p

In all seriousness though, someone stating that they are happy with their 1600MHz is comically missing the point of this product. I might as well say that I don't see the point of Formula 1 simply because I'm happy driving my BMW.

Not quite, unless you can afford an F1 car?

In the interests of equality - Do they come in white? :p

I could get some potentially with white heat spreader yes because so far this speed is pretty much a world exclusive for OcUK because I went to the TG office and requested it. :D

I am sure he can considering most days he throws cash around the office, but the F1 car the Police may not like him taking on the road, can't even do track days in it and he really cannot drive. So even if he can afford, no F1 car for Scotti to hotty! :D

Sucks to be him! :p

And I'm sitting here perfectly happy with my 1600 :o

This stuff is for the people who chase numbers on a spreadsheet, Not for gaming or media consumption ;)

Linus did a test a while back and it will cut litterally a few seconds of certain things like a render, In games however you are looking at 0.5 of an FPS increase.

we all love elite tier hardware so naturally we are interested.

ripping on eachother is just a bonus :D
