40MB Hard Drive for Sale

First post, go easy on me hahaha

I have a 40MB Hard Drive here, never been installed, DR Dos 5.0 disk pack still in its wrapper. Everything in its box, which is also immaculate.

Where would be the best place to sell this, such a shame to chuck it in the bin.

It does seem a shame to bin it. Is there likely to be much of a market for old retro pieces like that. I know certain retro markets can be big.

Yep, I've popped it up on ebay - seen a few non-working ones going for a few bucks, one is about to sell at £140!! And that's just the drive alone, not like mine fully boxed and never used at all. Fingers crossed haha.

Can't see it being used in a system, but it's a great history piece.

i had old 20mb drives that even had some external gearing visible on them. they went straight in the bin didnt think anyone would ever want it. lol

The magnets are always worth salvaging from old broken hard drives. They sell quite well on ebay.
