one thing does the curve on the monitors matter
Some people don't seem to like it, but personally, on my X34, I find it helps. I've sat in front of non-curved 34" and it feels wrong to me somehow... almost like the monitor is curving away. These newer models seem to have a more extreme curve though, so I don't know how that would be exactly. I do think it benefits the format though, especially when sitting close. Curved TV's are a joke however, as you are simply sat too far away for it to be of any benefit.
I would highly encourage you to try out one of these monitors if you can, or at least see one in the flesh. Don't listen to anyone else, just try it for yourself before making a decision.
thanks everyone for their help I have more or less decided to go for the AOC agon ag352ucg,my only concern is my fav games are skyrim and fallout 4 my research tells me the AOC will need extra tweaking to get those games to work is this true.
just out of interest why is 21.9 supposed unfair advantageYou should be fine with those. The only game that is an issue is Overwatch, as the devs have refused to support 21:9 due to the supposed unfair advantage... naturally they are also trying to ban gaming mice, gaming chairs, mechanical keyboards and fast refresh monitors to truly level the playing field.![]()
