4TB WD black issue

If windows doesn't boot, it may be possible to repair the install. But if you're comfortable installing windows on your own, you might find it easier/less time consuming (assuming you haven't spent ages customising/installing stuff on the existing install).

When you've repaired it or done a clean install with the 4TB drive unplugged, the partition on the 4TB drive should no longer be system reserved and you'll need to go back to the admin command prompt and run those diskpart commands again.

hey @marc2003
so repairing the existing install any tips on how to go about this...i have created a system repair disk, also i have enabled F8 press on boot too because of my last disaster is there a way to use either of these methods to boot windows with the HD unplugged as i do get the message 'reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key' message when i attempt to boot with the HD disconnected...i asume i will have to first enable to boot from an external device in the bios first before attempting to use a recovery disk repair or direct install

ok so SUCCESS finally after doing some cable management,(which i am glad i did as it helped my learning curve),and then as @marc2003 advised i unplugged the HDD,next went into bios settings and set the PC to boot from a disc drive, booted my windows recovery disk in said disc drive, next once the p.c. was up and running i plugged in the HDD and rebooted the p.c. again from the recovery disc in the disc drive...followed his instructions from step 6) as advised and WHAMMO now my HDD is in GPT and it can again be fully seen by my p.c. thank you again @marc2003
your advise was exceptional i cannot thank you enough...:):p:):p:):p:):p:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
