5.5ghz 24/7 Stable Ivy Inside!!!

Hi 8 Pack, I have this board along with an i5 3570k i was wondering what the best CPU cooler would be for getting the best overclock for my chip?
I am still on the stock cooler, but unsure which route to go down, water or air.
I was reccommended these for air cooling becuase of the high profile Corsair Dominator Platinum Ram

But would a custom loop something like the ones below be better to get me started then gradually build up to a better one bit by bit?

Custom Water for me!!!!

So, spill the beans 8 pack :p what cooling are you using? If chilled water... could you share how you set it up and what you use to chill it? :)

As you said its a 24/7 solution I doubt it's like I've seen on youtube where they dunk the radiator in a bucket of ice xP.

Also... is this overclock possible because of the cooling, or just a very good chip?

A combination of both I would imagine, some ivy chips can probably go higher, but chances of finding that chip would be very slim, I must say this is the highest non sub-zero clock i've seen! Well done again 8-Pack ;) I'm just benching my 4.4ghz 2500K, makes me happy enough for the moment :p

This being 8 pack, probably 30 seconds :D

Judging by the screenshot, he started the test at 8:11 and was still going at 12:23 so at least that long xP.

I'm still dying to know what kind of cooling solution you could run 24/7 to keep a 5.5ghz Ivybridge below 33C. I'm guessing the cooling requires a fair bit of juice? :p. I'm guessing this is also an "unmodified" chip as in not delidded and still using the crappy intel IHS TIM?

Custom water loop?

Surely not, I have custom water and it's good, but not that good, what is the loop comprised of?

It will definitely have some kind of assisted water cooling I'd imagine. 0 degrees minimum means it must be well under ambient room temperature (unless 8 pack tests in a fridge/freezer xP), so is being actively cooled by something.

The external box water chiller unit looks interesting, do they use a lot of power or make a lot of noise? Surprised we don't see them more often unless there's a caveat.
