That's an epic 24/7 overclock. I take it with four 7970's it was a money no object build

10c under load? evaporator? you mentioned -100c, water wont give that. ln2?

Do 4x crossfire give better performance than 4x SLI in this case then? Or is it just personal preference?

the main thing I want to know is the cooling really. So few of us are getting past 4.8ghz so it's intriguing to know how 8pack has made a 24/7 overclock for 5.5ghz xD.

Nobody's taking anything away from you here 8pack, you're clearly a champion overclocker

4 Way 680 SLI is slightly behind 7970 Quad Fire. Both set ups are great!!!! Its user preference here.

It has to be chilled water really. The temps seem about right, as I said before.

Its probably the chip to be honest and the cooling. But even with the cooling I use here very few are Prime Stable at 5.5ghz with this kind of DRAM speed.

Looking on desktop there are benching icons only, what might be 24/7 goal - benching ? Naaah. Losing money for electricity bills

Its not for benching that!!! I bench Ivy at 6.0ghz plus!! and SB-E at nearly 5.7ghz!!!

Its a 24/7 stable rig for a client.
