Interested to see what people think is a must for any PC gamer/enthusiast?

Mine is:

1) Build a PC
2) Play CSS
3) Get a WoW toon to 85 with friends
4) Attend a LAN
5) Join a Clan/Guild

1. Build an expensive PC
2. Overclock it
3. Hook up your TV
4. Attach 360 controller
5. Play 360 games

/Joke

edit: although thinking about this, I do actually do this.

I disagree, was so against mmo's and wow in particularly but truth be told i had more fun playing WoW with the guys in the clan than any other game i've played!

I lost a hell of a lot of time to an MMO in the past (Asheron's Call) but it really isn't a defining factor in terms of PC gaming enthusiasm/addiction. People can be addicted to any genre of game and be an enthusiast. The obvious one would be FPS, but as I said, there are others.

Obviously I wouldn't include playing Farmville on Facebook in that list, though...

1. Build a PC.
2. Blow something up on said PC.
3. Show off to someone what you've done. (Usually parents, siblings or the dog)
4. Play some games etc
5. Instantly start looking at better hardware.

1. Build a PC.
2. Buy a keyboard.
3. Buy a mouse.
4. Buy a monitor.
5. Buy some speakers.

1. Switch off PC/Console
2. Go outside
3. Get some fresh air
4. Meet real people, talk face to face!
5. Have sex.
1) There's an "off" button?
2) Out - side? Are you crazy? That's where the sun lives!
3) That's what windows are for.
4) I met a real person once; I wouldn't recommend it.
5) As soon as they make a penis shaped USB port I'm marrying my computer.

in no real order:

the big ones are:
build & maintain your own gaming machine & have a steam account.

then:
complete ALL the half life series, you really owe it to yourself.
experience one of the relevant FPS games, mine was battlefield 2 in its day (nothings touched it really!)
play minecraft
NEVER pre-order games, wait a few weeks for the price to crash

A quick google of 'usb fleshlight' brings up a few too many results...

3) Get a WoW toon to 85 with friends

Seriously? This reminds me of that WoW South Park episode. Will your mum hold a pan for you so you can go toilet without the need to stop playing?!

I'd say build a PC is good. I still have to build one. When I get the funds, I will be doing that!

Might not be people's taste.

Same as above.

You might not have money for LAN, or not good enough for LAN.

I'd say join a gaming community and be active.

I did 2 only till now, and did 5 on PC. I wil do 1 when I have the money, and 4 I highly doubt as I have to play flights. Not interested in WoW so won't do 3.

I'd say

1. Build your own PC
2. Overclock it
not sure about the rest

Well at least this list covers mroe things I do actually do! :p

The OP's list only had 1 thing i've done - Build a PC. (and that was only 2 weeks ago).

You can always combine the lot which is my preference. Plenty outdoor activities (mountain biking, snowboarding etc), plenty gaming (not so keen on the meeting people thing, i prefer to have a nice smallish group of people as most others bore the hell out of me).
Sex goes without saying, i live with my partner and everytime i look at her i want to do that...shame women don't think the same way eh! lol

But if you're too engrossed in your game then they could maybe do something to distract you and get you off it ;)
Only, once you have been together a long time they are more likely to just hit you with a cushion or something...
