LOL @ all the 'you must get a life' posters.
Get off the forum dedicated to whoring yourself with computer hardware then.
Alert Alert, long drawn out rant ahead. Proceed with caution.

I'm all for the 'each to their own' philosophy.
Granted, i'd consider playing WoW pointless, because I think it's terrible. But i'm not one to judge what is a worthwhile life and what isn't.
I have my views on what is, and so I live my life by those views. And that is mostly just a little bit of everything.
I love gaming, a LOT and spend more time doing that than anything else really...(except listening to music) but I do also love extreme sports, fast cars, seeing the worlds cultures, expensive holidays with luxury suites, fine dining and cocktails, movies, music.
And of course having a stunning, intelligent girl and a nice small group of great friends.
I also have a career, which is progressing nicely and i've got myself into a very respectable position with a high income.
I hate to say all this as it sounds like bragging, but it's not. Just kind of bugs me when gamers get this bad rep for being sad and pathetic and having no life.
Despite the above, I mostly game. And often spend 30 or more hours in a week doing so. Whether on PC, Xbox, PS3 or PSP.
Granted, most of that is currently due to my partner studying through Open Uni so a huge proportion of her time at home is spent studying. I probably wouldn't game so much if she wasn't so busy.
But, what's the difference between playing WoW for 40 hours a week, or playing 5 different games totalling 40 hours a week? or watching TV for 40 hours a week, or living/playing/breathing football 40 hours a week? (just because it's a sport doens't make it any less sad to others. I find football one of the most pathetic things in existance!)
Ok, i'm at peace again.
