I guess the recent problems they had must have hit sales. Silly, because they sorted the problems, but good news for us that they are cheap!

Ah quite right, silly Google - missed it was presenting different version!Think that is the 980 PRO.
It's for accounting purposes - means they can state in their quarterly results that they've sold £xm of devices, if you discount it hits these numbers, if you cashback you can a) defer this hit and b) hide it in other lines....Think it's mainly a glut of parts
Drives like Sn850x also took big price drop
There's probably some sneaky reason though
For doing it as a cashback
Rather than simply drop the price
Maybe they get 2 months interest out your £50
Before giving you it
So actually costs them less than £50
Or there's some other benefits in them doing it that way
That I can't think of

All a bit silly, but allows them to manage their positioning of sales volumes - also sometimes has tax benefits also for the firm.
Or indeed, the fancier the accounting you get away with, the more money you have....Yeah that makes sense
As usual the more money you have
The fancier the accounting you can get away with

I wonder if they will make me wait until the 21st before emailing me that they're transferred the cashback reward? My order arrived on the 20th and I registered my claim before 6pm on the same day.Likewise! funnily enough when I got a soundbar from them and did the same thing, money was in my account within 3 days from registering my claim!

How long did it take for the bank transfer after they emailed you they've transferred the cashback to your bank?
My stepson already received his
T7 cashback
Guess the more they sell of an item
The longer you'll wait
Samsung still faster than Asus though
Still not received either of my asus ones
Even though both were approved weeks ago
Hopefully it won't come to thatWith the sound bar they e-mailed me within submitting my claim and then money in my account 3 days later and this was inc a weekend as I submitted it on a Saturday.
For this Drive I submitted on the 3rd of this month, then got a E-mail same day the claim has been approved by the team. Next step is they will send an approval E-mail when payment has been processed, so been a while.
Fingers crossed with ASUS. For me they were useless. During z370 era submitted it, took ages, chased them up and they considered it paid, never received the money.
I'm beginning to think that Samsung will email me tomorrow (30 days from the start of my claim) and at roughly the same time I put my claim in (6pm).With the sound bar they e-mailed me within submitting my claim and then money in my account 3 days later and this was inc a weekend as I submitted it on a Saturday.

So I've received my £50 cashback today, despite not receiving an email saying I should expect to receive it soon.
