50% Game pass increase incoming!

Unless I'm wrong as I'm bad a maths even if they lose 25-30% of their subs the remaining paying with a 50% increase means more ££££.

Not sure that's true...everything I have read says it's profitable and has posted record revenues this year of $5 billion.

The 5 billion number is from an earnings call and was strictly about revenue. So not a guarantee that it is profitable. I feel as if it was profitable they wouldn’t be quoting revenue numbers.

The profitable statement seems to be from an interview from Tokyo Gaea show this year. I would take that with a pinch of salt.

I've had an e-mail to say how fantastic the new Ultimate subscription is - Same name, More benefits. Interstingly the price rise is not mentioned in that e-mail at all. I assume I'll get a notification at some point. I've been planning to cancel it for a while, so this may well be the final nudge.

Only problem is my son has started playing Hollow Knight: Silksong on his PC through it. Is there any way his save file would be transferable to Steam?

That's my sub cancelled, was nice while it lasted but that price is not value for me so I'm out.

Well looks like the "This is an Xbox" era is well and truly starting. Next gen you can buy a premium handheld Xbox for £800 that's digital only, a premium console for more £££ (disc drive extra) or you can take the "cheap" option to pay MS £23 a month for 7 years (£1932) to not own any games or a console. Oh and as it's all digital you have to buy any games from MS every penny goes straight to them. Be happy people!

Check again, my next payment was going to be 13.99 but officially it still said 9.99
