Just been playing the first few missions and WOW :D This is what COD is all about. It's so much more engaging than COD4. I feel like I will actually finish this one!

Must admit I'm loving it so far (just done the Russian sniper level). It does for me what all of the other COD games have done - creates superb set pieces that overwhelm your senses in a way that other games don't.

and yes it is worth it, its exactly the same as cod4, but little better graphics, more maps, more fun with zombies co-op, theres veichle maps, its all good and worth it

Excellent! I managed to convince my housemate to get it as well so I will get a chance to have a go at a bit of co-op.

Just leave it download overnight or while your at work etc

Luckily i get the full 16meg on sky but it was a tad slow downloading at 200/500k last night so i left it and went to do other things.

Sorted now though and so far single player is great to play, would recommend it to anyone...
 
I bought this at the last steam sale. Definately worth £14.99. Not as good as COD4 however imo.

As I have said elsewhere, once modern warfare 2 is out I'll swap my cod4 server over to WAW. If there are more who want a COD5 server of course than a cod4 one I may swap it before that...
 
I have to say that I was going to buy it but unfortunately I only had £13 in my bank yesterday. :( I find it funny how the map packs are free for PC but console gamers have to pay for them, and that especially through Xbox Live Microsoft only do the points in pre set amounts, usually meaning that you have to buy two sets of points in order to afford what you need, thus wasting around £3-£4, sneaky blighters.
 
I bought the game because of this thread and iam really enjoying it on multiplayer, so much different from cz and cs which i have been playing, there is a feel of you have somethign to aim for instead of you know just blasting away.

I think it's fairly good. It's single player was not as enjoyable as COD4's for me, however I do think that they've added to the addictive multiplayer of COD4. The vehicle maps fit well, apart from roundhouse, the Nazi zombie's mode is great fun too, especially with friends. I like the added gore whereby you can seperate limbs, I think the dogs are sometimes overkill though. Then there's the 3 map packs that have been released showing that Treyarch are actually bothering to add some longevity for this although for me at the moment this is just a pass time until Modern Warfare 2 comes out, which looks very good also.
