Just bought the above GPU

in another thread @loonyk spec'd out his costs for his own custom loop with a MSI Ventus.

Is there anything I'm missing here that I need? from that list originally provided, or do I need some other parts.

Also not everything is in stock at the moment, so if there are other in stock options they'd be appreciated

My Case is a Phanteks NV7 and it's the first time I'd be doing a custom loop.

Looking to what I need asap after some help.

Thank you.

I'd go for the ek quantum torque angled fittings aswell rather than them barrow ones. I had rhat type of ek one years ago and all of them lasted one maybe 2 maintenance cycles ( each time i changed the coolant or cleaned it one or more of the o rings had died on them ). The quantum torque ones look and feel sturdier imo. I have them in my current loop and they have no wiggle so far.

Thanks for the response, appreciate it.

Edit : out of stock at the moment so will stick with the barrow :) unless I see it in stock when I order.

my genuine advice would be to seek professional advice when looking to spend £4000 to water cooler a 5090 + CPU
you can buy a perfectly good 5090 for £2000, so your spending £2000 on water cooling

you can buy a 5090 block for said GPU for £200 saving you £1000

I got the Aorus WB for a good price :) - the total cost will be under £3K with the water cooling

in that case knock your self out hahah

the parts you have listed will be fine, I've not water cooler for a long time but i did always as a minimum aim for 240mm of rad per part coolers you have 2 basic but capable 360mm listed so cooling power your all good
unless the Hydro X as a coolant temp monitor(it probably dose) i would add a temp sensor they cose £10er and if you have a fan error its will save you a lot of money. i ones have a program conflict and PWM just stopped working, luckily i spotted it when the coolant temp is just under 50c....

That happened to me once. Was sitting playing classic wow late and night and felt my mouse hand get warm. I had already pushed myself too late with work in the morning so had no time to sort it, just had to turn power off and off at mains aswell. When I got up my reservoir was a lot emptier, luckily it was in a stupidly massive case with nothing underneath it component wise.

Thanks for everyone's help, I've ended up buying a full kit specifically for my case - hopefully is much easier for a beginner even though it comes with hard tubing :)

should just be a case of me correctly fitting everything in the right positions and then flushing out the system before proper use (comes with all the fittings and blocks needed) just need to buy my own coolant/leak tester + maybe some spare hard tubes and all the stuff required to heat+cut it just in case.

if you need any help with this is I am reasonably near in Hastings

Why have you got multiple tube cutters?
Only need the xspc heavy duty cutter
That will cut soft tube and will cut hard tube
Not acrylic probably need a hacksaw for that as it's
More brittle

Spending that amount
But mixing several different fittings type/manufacturers
Seems somewhat strange
Though that's just a visual thing not functionality
But I would want all matching fittings if Spending a lot of money on it

Personal choice here
Would opt for something like ek zmt or other epdm tubing
Way better than any clear tubing I have ever tried
