If they continue the trend of having approximately 5 FE cards sent to the UK for launch and you do manage to get one and don't like it, I imagine you won't face much issue selling it to someone else.

I suspect it will get pulled down some as you have lower-priced cards nipping at its heels e.g. 9070xt (and possibly 5070), and a faster card that is near in price e.g. 5070 ti. I doubt used 4080s will be selling for £800 by end of Jan.

Agree. The 5070 Ti should match the 4080 imo with DLSS4, newer arc. Lower power. If it launches at £800 I wouldn’t be paying more than £600 for a 4080 as anymore I’d just get the newer card with warranty and potentially same or slightly better performance and I imagine better RT performance
