There are no preorders.

What usually happens is everyone gathers in the OCUK carpark where the Nvidia branded paddling pool full of baked beans is set up, and everyone wrestles for a chance to select a new card from the GPU pyramid while Gibbo and 8Pack cheer them on.
Really I am so jelly. On the 4090 release a group of us headed down to OCUk met up at the pub and then proceeded to the showroom. I can’t remember how many drinks I had but all I remember was a bunch of blokes put their keys in a bowl or something in their car park. Several hours later I woke up and I walked with a funny limp and I didn’t get a 4090. :(

If a 5070 really does perform the equivalent of a 4090 then fair enough, but I can’t see that being true - at least in raw performance and not including any DLSS or AI frame gen
it kinda ambigous. is it 5070 running the full package gets 4090 performance at native.? I just can't see a 5070 beating a 4090 with dlss running and running frame gen.

Just realised I’m going to need a new PSU as well because I didn’t realise it’s only a 750 W in my current rig.

Now I just have to convince the wife that the new 5090 I’m going for probably shouldn’t be paired with a 5800X…

think they will still offer the 5 year warranty cant see any mention on it?

Was it the case in every country?
Or was it offered only in the EU due to EU policies? If this is the case they don't have to do it anymore in UK.

Still 5 years if registered... although they could revise that position at any time...

What's the consensus on what the 4090 2nd hand market will be like? I've got an FE that I was hoping to sell for at least half the price of a 5090. But with these lower priced other cards that feels far less likely now...

They're going for £10.

I'm happy to reluctantly giving you £10 for yours, as the next gen models will be dozens of times faster, yours is not much faster than a Geforce 256.

take it to cex or cash converters before its worthless

how many people with a 4090 are even going to bother upgrading and people care about real performance not frame gen boosted nonsense

They're still selling today on eBay for £1400-1500.

Try your luck on Facebook marketplace but make sure to practice your boxing stance.

Wait for the actual reviews. There's a strong feeling that these outlandish performance claims aren't all they seem. I still can't see how a 5080 is going to beat a 4090 so, when the picture becomes clear, 4090 prices could hold up quite well.

I will list my 4090 so it sells the day the 5000 series is released - Probably be worth £1200.
Checked and CEX will give £950 for my card.

I still think it will be desirable card - It will pretty much be the same as a 5080 performance wise but have more VRAM.
