$1,999 and the 5090 FE in the pictures looks cheap & crap.
Guessing it no problem if PC case doesn’t have a window

Then again the FE model is normally far cheaper then the AIB models

They've also kept the hideous angled power connector so it's an instant no from me, gonna preferably go for MSI of Gigabyte, they never let me down tbh.

OK, so summary is that the only thing that the new series is getting is MFGx4 and 10-30% faster rasterisation on the top end cards and the 4000 series is getting all the benefits of DLSS 4 but not MFGx4. I'm good for another year on my 4090.

Kept? No, they've made it angled, which will mean far easier installation in many cases since the cable won't be bumping into the side panel as much.

4090FE 12VHPWR connect was straight, not angled.

Anyone know when preorders open?
There are no preorders.

What usually happens is everyone gathers in the OCUK carpark where the Nvidia branded paddling pool full of baked beans is set up, and everyone wrestles for a chance to select a new card from the GPU pyramid while Gibbo and 8Pack cheer them on.

Music to my ears. I am the Swindon Baked Bean wrestling champion 1996 to 1998. Time to restart my training.

I think i am going to skip this series as well... was tempted to go to a 5090 on release before the announcement but too many unknowns at the moment and also this multi frame generation i think will yes give a lot of frames, but the clarity and input lag could potentially be horrendous but we will have to see
