55" OLED's is there really any differences between all the big brands using the same panel.

If your current HDMI cables are high speed then you should be ok you don't need the latest 2.1 spec cables to achieve 4k /HDR/DV i have some old HDMI 1.3 spec cables and they work fine in 4K/HDR/DV with my LG C6 OLED and Denon X2300w av amp.

Amazon basic cables are good and only cost a fiver if you do need to buy some.

I couldn’t get my old cables to work which were high speed when playing uhd Blu-ray, but oddly the ps4 worked fine, so just changed them. If we ever see 60fps movies however, then you will need to change them then :)

I have an LG E6, i hope it lasts as long as possible as i don't see any TV beating it for a decade. I can't live without the 3D is outputs because it's simply the best 3D i have ever seen, including IMAX cinemas

Will HDMI 2.0 cables suffice?

There is a lot of misinformation about HDMI cables and marketing hype there are four types of HDMI cables.

High-speed (also called Category 2
High-speed (also called Category 2) with Ethernet
Standard-speed (Category 1)
Standard-speed (Category 1) with Ethernet

There is no such thing as a HDMI 2.1 cable its just marketing to get people to buy more expensive cables.

Some high speed cables are poor quality this is why some do not work when trying to pass 4k/HDR signals.

Amazon basics are decent High speed cables for the price so if the ones you have are not up to speed buy those for a fiver.
