5600X Vs 5800X

Went for a 5800X myself for 420£ which is not too bad, the 3800x was not keeping up with the 3080FE at 1440p.

Considering I can sell the 3800x for a hefty amount and also an old r5 2600 for roughly the same price I bought it for 2 years ago its a good upgrade. Would be a bit uneasy going for a 6 core going into 2021 even though it still matches the rest in gaming its less cores than the consoles. Games will use 8 soon surely is my thought.

Might end up doing the same. Not in a mad rush and I would prefer a 5900x but at the same time not sure I should just get the 5600x 6core
